What to expect

We are excited to immerse you in a world of wonder and fun, with one of our professional hosts to guide you along your journey. We provide everything, from clues, to character sheets, even an atmospheric soundtrack to accompany the experience. Our host will lead 8 of your guests in a performance of murder and intrigue.

Our show is unlike any you’ve ever seen. Being in the Cocktail party style allows your guests to get up and get involved in the action of the show. The suspects have simple lines and everyone is able to ask questions. Our show has immersive events and encounters throughout the performance.

The Host will bring the world and action right to your venue in an almost 2 hour long experience you will never forget. These parties are perfect for anyone from the ages of 12 and up!

PG-13 Family Friendly

Immersive Mystical Mystery

In this swashbuckling pirate mystery, you and all your guests will get to uncover the murder of Captain Cuthroat Kane. 8 of your guests will play the captain’s crew, and t is up to all the guests (including the suspects) to ask them questions and uncover who the mutineer is! In this 2 hour show you will sail the seas and experience the life of a pirate! Get ready to be attacked, do the attackin, and solve a true and true murder in The Kraken’s Key!

Immersive Mystical Mystery

In this magical wizard school mystery, you and all your guests will get to uncover the truth of who destroyed the Pillar of Draxus. 8 of your guests will play the faculty at Draxus School of Spell craft & Sorcery. It is up to the entire school and faculty to ask questions to the suspects and uncover the truth before it is too late, and evil falls upon the school! Can you save put back the Pillar and reverse the damage that has been done in this 2 hour show full of spell slinging, creature attacks, and puzzles to solve! Classic Mystical Mystery

In this 1 hour show you will get to fall down the rabbit hole to Wonderland in the Middle of Winter? Alice will guide an investigation into the Queen of Hearts stolen Magical Royal Snow globe. In this 8 person seated performance you and 7 guests will get to enjoy a more relaxed murder mystery experience. This show is perfect for family gatherings, and winter break days off. Come become the crazy cast of Wonderland and stay at the March hares Cabin in Alice’s Investigations in Winter Wonderland!

The Solution

The whole party will send in their vote for who they believe is the murderer. Then, the murderer will finally be revealed.

We have 2 different types of Mystery Shows

Immersive Mystical Mysteries

These are our fully atmospheric shows that include events with world building, games and events for the party guests to participate in, and all guests have the freedom to walk around the room and personally ask all the suspects specific questions through the event. Due to this show being in the Cocktail Style everyone can walk around ming and hangout in small groups, grab snack and drinks as well. You have never seen a murder mystery show like this. Our shows also include a complete Audio Soundscape that immerses you in the world and the mood. There is music and sound effects through out the performance. We also have a professional actor as your host for the event leading you on the adventure, prop clues hidden around your party area, and lines being said by all the guests at your party. These shows range on the movie age rating scale, but that does not mean our PG and PG-13 shows are not perfect for adult only events. These shows have something for everyone. Classic Mystical Mysteries

These shows offer a simpler, short, and seated murder mystery experience. These shows are as simple to read and understand as dinner theatre murder mystery or a party pack you may have seen before, but these Classic shows are turned up a notch by including a professional actor to guide you at home along the 1 hour investigation. These are perfect for a more relaxed evening and also for disabled audiences to enjoy. These shorter performances still use a fully immersive soundscape with music and sound effects to guide the show and make you feel in the magical worlds you explore.

Having Mystical Moments perform at your party allows you as the host to actually enjoy the show as much as your guests. Relax, and participate in the festivities. This is a party after all! Allowing us to host your party means we will bring everything it takes to run the game. Props, character pamphlets, name tags, a soundtrack, and even a professionally trained actor to bring the whole world to life.

Corporate Events

Are you ready for a team building activity your workers are going to love? A Murder Mystery Show is the perfect way to get your employees out of their shell and into the action. Our shows allow you to spend some time having fun while also working together. This event allows your employees to use deductive reasoning, and be part of the bigger picture as they work together to solve the crime.

This will be a fun and entertaining way to get your company on their feet, mingling, and having interactions like you never thought they could. This is an event your attendees will be talking about for months!

FAQs

  • You may decorate as much or as little as you like. The most you will need to do is make sure that there is a 3FT by 5FT space clear for your Host to talk to the whole party. This should be at the easiest viewing point of the room.

  • You should plan for your Host to arrive 10 minutes before any of your guests arrive. Any guests arriving early should remain outside. The Host will prepare their “Stage”, put out clues, and prepare the speaker & MP3 track. You just need to relax and go about setting up your party.

  • On our shows, we have put a rating scale to help parents and event organizers have a better idea of what to expect from our performances. We recommend ages 12+ for all attendees. Participating in our show requires a mature reading level to comprehend the material provided. Here is a more detailed explanation of our rating scale for you to see.     PG

    These shows only have mystical fun that the whole family can enjoy. In all of our PG shows, there will be no murder, only mystery. Expect fantasy violence and age-appropriate humor for all ages.

    PG-13

    Like our PG rating, these shows include fantasy violence and age-appropriate humor, but unlike our PG rating, these shows will include a murder in the mystery. This rating is also due to the humor being for a more family-oriented show, with jokes for everyone at the party.

    R/18+ Performances

    We are hoping to bring a fun and new experience for people 18+ to attend. These shows will be a fun new way to spend the evening with some friends and participate in a R-rated murder mystery experience. These shows will only be available to people 18+. There will be language, gore, and mature themes in these performances.

    (We do want to say that all of our shows, no matter the rating, are great for gatherings of just people 18+ to book or attend.)

  • During the preshow section of the performance. Our host will give out name tags to 8 willing guests. Then, during the Opening Statement, our host will introduce them to the rest of the guests, and they will be handed a pamphlet with all the information they need. There are a handful of questions the guests can ask, and the pamphlet has 1 to 2-sentence responses to those questions. The rest of the instructions are written in the pamphlets for your suspect’s eyes only!

  • Our show is in the Cocktail Party Style. Most murder mystery shows you see are dinner theatre performances. These are where all the guests sit and eat dinner while the actors perform. Our show is better suited to drinks and light snacks that the patrons can carry around while asking questions to the suspects in small groups. Provide themed snacks and drinks for your guests for extra fun!

  • Yes! The best part about going to a murder mystery party is being someone else. Dressing up and using a different voice are staples of a murder mystery party.
